after I have another slice!!.......WHEE
at my age I eat what I want and when I want........I love left over fish the next day ...for breakfast!

You just have so much energy. I know about the Red Hat Society, I have a couple of their cookbooks, one is an all dessert book, and I can't remember what the other one has in it.It is a very nice book. I knew you were a red Hat member from your purple & red attire in your picture. That is another way to remain active, and you are doing just that. Keep up the good work Nancy, we all admire you, and the energy that you have. It will run circles around me, LOL and I am sure a few of the other ladies to, but I am sure they are like me, THEY ADMIRE YOU FOR YOUR SPUNK AND ENERGY. God Bless.

We are called the SCARLET FLOOZIES!!!!
and meet once a month for lunch.., wear all our "bling" and an have a wonderful time!!

What a Blessing to reach 81 years of age. I only hope I am blessed to live to be your age, and still be as active as you are. Cooking, posting Recipes, adding informative comments, and I am sure you do so much more. God is great, and you are able to share so many wonderful recipes with all of us, that are all across the USA. What a wonderful thing.

Yes you were close to the area where I lived, and my now husband lived on the North side near Ashland close to Wrigley Field, but of course I did not know him at the time. Yes by all means if you should come back to the Chicago area do look me up. It would be nice to meet in person. I really admire you Nancy, and all the wonderful cooking that you do. I have so much love and respect for you. I am happy that I got to meet your adopted daughter Rose S. also. She too seems very sweet and kind no wonder you hit it off. God Bless you Nancy.

I guess we were. You were closer to Midway Airport, I am closer to the Indiana border about 5 minutes away. Chicago is such a big city. About 33 years ago, I lived near 80th & Ashland. What a small world. Nice to meet you Nancy. You are a great cook & I admire you a lot. Happy Mother's Day.
