Cooking has always been a passion. My first experiment was a Red Velvet cake when I was 13. It grew from there to ethnic foods.. I have now discovered fermenting, using mainly jalapeños, but I have tried kimchi, carrots, and cabbage.
The most important thing to me is the flavor, spices that intrigue, and visual impact. My favorite saying is "Brown foods don't .photograph well, don't judge." Cookbooks are my bedtime reading material that inspire what I will cook the next day.
