Hello, I actually joined this site in 2014. I lost my interest in cooking for quite awhile. In Sept 2014 I had a gastric bypass. That was 15 months ago. I went from 285 lbs to 158 lbs to date. Well, during that weight loss time I regained my love for cooking so here I am again. I still have 10-20 lbs left to go ! Anyway, I have found a great love of the crockpot (it is my new bff). I have also started making my own dog food for my Chihuahua's, Boomer and Jersey and my lab, Missy as well. They are loving it. Hopefully, this coming year I am going to learn to can.
