I'm a novice cook, mostly at home I look up recipes to expand the monthly menu, I've only ever done a little bit of cooking but am hoping to get more experience and find new and fun dishes to try. One of my favorite recipes is my stepmom's Snicker's Salad or my mom's Jell-O Cakes. I also like to try to find recipes from my family's diverse background, being Irish, Scottish, Dutch, Armenian, English and Cherokee. Convincing the family to try them however, is another matter entirely. However, my mom does know how to make some GREAT homemade doughnuts.
