I've been a baker since I was 5, and a cook since I was old enough to make grilled cheese without burning myself on the stove. I'm the oldest of 5 children, and as such was relied upon to get dinner started when my parents were both working. When I was 12 my parents bought me the Family Circle Encyclopedia of Cooking (a series of cookbooks you could purchase each week at the grocery store back in the late 70's) and I began my quest to try new and exciting recipes! 36 years later I'm still on the hunt for new and exciting things to cook and bake.
I do have a serious cookbook addiction.
