I started life as the pickiest eater ever born. As my mother was the neighborhood Julia Child you would think I would've been a good eater. I had (and still have) rules for eating: foods cannot touch each other, you must consume things on your plate one at a time... All I wanted for dinner was a pork chop that hadn't been made into a gourmet meal. Instead of "normal fare" we got sweet breads. My folks did always make me taste everything and over time I have triumphed over my finickiness with two exceptions--I detest tomatoes and mushrooms. Strange as it may seem, I am now NC's Julia Child.
