My mom was an Oklahoma girl and cooked many down home meals for us growing up. My dad is full blooded Italian from New Jersey and he helped to round out my moms cooking. I'm interested in many different types of food and styles of cooking. I'm a married mom of 2 wonderful daughters. One is 26 and out of the home and the youngest is almost 13.

I work outside the home and am always interested in nutritious and delicious meals that do not take too much time to prepare. I save the longer recipes for the weekends.
