I'm an Iowa native stuck in AZ since '81. My dad was a chef and had his own restaurant. My mom was also a great cook. I love to bake and entertain and my husband is also a great cook. I love sharing recipes and think this is a great site on which to do that.

I'm a retired editor. I sing in a professional chorale and also play piano.

I'm looking forward to moving back to the Midwest where there are lots of lakes, golf courses, and green grass...and no four months of triple digit temperatures!
