Pecan pie is a holiday favorite. Add bourbon and a cheesecake layer and this pecan pie recipe will become a holiday necessity. It's delicious! The cheesecake layer is tangy and creamy. Then, there's the gooey pecan pie filling layer that's infused with smoky bourbon. You definitely taste the bourbon in this pie, but it's just the right amount. Not overwhelming at all. So good!

Ingredients For bourbon cheesecake pecan pie

1 pkgcream cheese, room temperature (8 oz)

3/4 csugar

3 tspvanilla extract, divided

3eggs

1 1/2 cpecans, in pieces

3/4 cKaro light corn syrup

1 csugar

3 tspbourbon

4 Tbspmelted butter

1deep dish pie shell
How To Make bourbon cheesecake pecan pie

1In a bowl, cream 3/4 c sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Beat in 1 egg and 1 tsp vanilla.

2Spread into a deep dish pie shell.

3Mix 1 c sugar, melted butter, add 2 eggs, Karo syrup, bourbon, and remaining 2 tsp vanilla extract. Then set aside.

4Place chopped nuts on the cream cheese mix.

5Pour Karo syrup mix on top.

6Cook in 375 oven for 45 to 55 mins until firm in the middle. Let cool completely to set.
