I grew up in a family of cooks (home and professional), and worked in kitchens myself for several years, before becoming a full time baker. Now I am a homemaker, and couldn't be happier. I love heirloom recipes and old-fashioned country cooking. Aside from cooking, I am a handspinner, weaver and knitter, love sewing, gardening and preserving, reading, and my pets.
