I am a home cook trained the Pennsylvania Dutch way. I cooked for a family (kids, neighbors, employees, whoever!) of 14 or so every day for many years. Now, I cook for myself and my dogs. I still love canning, and take time off from work in the summer to put up jars of tomatoes, soups, jams and jellies to give as gifts to friends. I work as a Doctor of Nursing Practice in cardiology specializing in lipid management, prevention and wellness.
