I'm a full time momma, Nana, aunt and friend. I'm not a great house keeper but I love to cook, knit, crochet, sew and quilt.

Recently widowed, we are sorting through 27 years of his/my/our accumulation of stuff, including an amazing collection of cook books (what a surprise, eh?) most of which have never been used for anything other than interesting novels!

I tend to be a scratch cook, not starting with a box of this nor a can of that. My recipes may take a touch longer, but I think the final value is in the taste.
