Wacky Chocolate-Orange Cake with Orange Frosting
"When I first saw this recipe (on the label of a white vinegar bottle - where else?), I thought "Vinegar in a dessert? This must be a joke!) So I made the recipe, just for the heck of it, and found it surprizingly yummy!..."
INGREDIENTS

1 cup sugar

3 tablespoons cocoa

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

5 tablespoons olive oil or 5 tablespoons canola oil

1 teaspoon white vinegar (I kid thee not - please do not omit or substitute)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
•
1/2 teaspoon orange extract
•
1 cup orange juice
•
1 1/2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin
•
3 tablespoons cold water
•
3 tablespoons orange juice
•
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
•
3/8 cup confectioners' sugar
•
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
•
1/4 teaspoon orange extract
