1 bunch chopped fresh spinach (optional)
1/3 teaspoon ground allspice
salt, to taste (optional)
1/4 cup water
1 cup dry texturized vegetable protein
1 cup cooked kidney beans
4 ounces chopped mushrooms
1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/3 cup chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 chopped tomatoes (optional)
