INGREDIENTS
VANILLA CAKE
3 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
2 C sugar
5 large eggs at room temperature
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
3 C gluten-free flour blend (King Arthur’s or your favorite)
1 tsp xanthan gum (only if gf flour blend you are using does not have it)
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp kosher salt
1 C buttermilk
CHOCOLATE BUTTERCREAM FROSTING
2 sticks butter
5 cups confectioner’s sugar
½ cup cocoa powder
2 tsp vanilla
¼ cup heavy cream
CHOCOLATE GANACHE
1 cup semisweet or dark chocolate chips
½ cup heavy cream
