2 C. all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp. Salt

1 C. (2 sticks) butter

3/4 C. firmly packed light brown sugar
•
1/4 C. granulated sugar
•
1 large egg, at room temperature
•
1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract
•
1 1/2 C. coarsely chopped toasted pecans (see note)

1 C. toffee pieces
