2 tsp vanilla extract (or seeds from one vanilla bean)

for filling:
•
1 8-oz container marscapone cheese
•
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
•
2 tsp instant coffee granules
•
for coffee buttercream frosting:
•
1 stick butter, softened
•
2 cups confectioners sugar
•
1 T milk
•
1 tsp coffee granules (or 1 tsp coffee extract)
•
cocoa powder for dusting
