INGREDIENTS
3 cups fresh raw corn kernels ((cut from 4-5 ears))
3/4 cup self rising flour (or substitute all purpose flour + 1 1/4 tsp baking powder)
1/4 cup yellow cornmeal (or white cornmeal)
1 Tbsp granulated sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
2 extra large egg yolks
1/2 cup buttermilk
vegetable oil ( for shallow frying)
