Basic White Cake for 3, 10 inch layers:

4 tsp baking powder

2 sticks butter or margarine at room temperature

2 cups sugar
•
1 tsp vanilla
•
1 cup milk
•
8 egg whites ( save yolks for something else, no yolks are used in this

recipe )
•
Glaze:
•
1/2 cup sugar
•
1/2 cup orange liquor
•
Strawberry Mousse:
•
4 cups strawberries
•
( 2 cups for mousse , save 2 cups for cake and decoration )
•
3/4 cup powder sugar
•
1 pkt unflavored gelatin ( 2 1/4 tsp )
•
1 1/2 Tbs. lemon juice
•
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
•
3 egg whites
•
Joan's Fluffy Cream Cheese Frosting:
•
3 pkg ( 8 oz ) cream cheese
•
1/2 cup heavy cream
•
Enough powder sugar to taste
•
Garnish
•
extra strawberries
•
chocolate covered strawberries ( optional )
