INGREDIENTS

1. Boil large fryer or hen and season with salt.

2. Make one pan of cornbread.
•
3. Toast 3 or 4 pieces of light bread.
•
4. Crumble together.
•
5. Pour over all with hot chicken broth.
•
6. Add 3 or 4 boiled eggs chopped.
•
7. Sear 1 large onion chopped with 3 or 4 stalks of celery chopped.
•
8. Add 2 or 3 whole eggs uncooked. Slat, pepper, and a small amount of sage.
•
9. Mix all well and put into a greased casserole.
•
10. Bake at 350 degrees until set and brown.
