Ingredients: 1. Boil large fryer or hen and season with salt.; 2. Make one pan of cornbread.; 3. Toast 3 or 4 pieces of light bread.; 4. Crumble together.; 5. Pour over all with hot chicken broth.; 6. Add 3 or 4 boiled eggs chopped.; 7. Sear 1 large onion chopped with 3 or 4 stalks of celery chopped.; 8. Add 2 or 3 whole eggs uncooked. Slat, pepper, and a small amount of sage.; 9. Mix all well and put into a greased casserole.; 10. Bake at 350 degrees until set and brown.
