Ingredients For winter's cabbage soup

3 Tbspolive oil

1/2onion chopped

2 clovegarlic chopped

2 qtwater
-
4 tspchicken boullion
-
1 tspsalt, or to taste

1/2 tspblack pepper, or to taste

1/2head of cabbage, cored and coarsely chopped
-
14 1/2 ozitalian style stewed tomatoes, drained and diced
How To Make winter's cabbage soup

1In a large stock pot, heat olive oil and stir in onion, cook until transparent, throwing in the garlic at the end.

2Stir in water, bouillon, salt, and pepper bring to a boil then stir in cabbage simmer until cabbage wilts about 10 minutes

3Stir in tomatoes, return to a boil then simmer 15 to 30 minutes stirring often.
