Ingredients For winter vegetable and ham soup

1 boxchicken stock 32 oz

1 mdleek, quartered lengthwise and thinly sliced

4 stalkcelery, small dice

2 mdcarrots, small dice

1 mdrusset potato, peeled, small dice

2 cwater

1/2 tspkosher salt, pepper

1 mdbay leaf
-
1 sprigfresh rosemary

2 cdiced ham

3 csavoy cabbage, roughly chopped

1/2 cdry white wine

2 Tbspolive oil
How To Make winter vegetable and ham soup

1Place all ingredients, except ham, wine, olive oil and cabbage in a large pot. On stove, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer, covered, for 45 minutes.

2Add the ham, wine, olive oil and cabbage. Bring back to a boil and continue to simmer, covered, for 20 minutes more.

3Remove from heat and remove lid to cool 15 minutes before serving.
