Ingredients For windsor soup

  • 2
    potatoes, pared, sliced
  • 1
    turnip, pared, sliced
  • 1/4 c
    celery tops
  • 2 slice
    onions
  • 2 1/2 c
    boiling water
  • 1 1/2 c
    hot milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    ketchup

How To Make windsor soup

    In a stock pot add potatoes, turnip, celery, onion and boiling water; cook 1/2 hour, then press through a sieve.
  • 2
    To the soup add hot milk thickened with butter and flour blended together. Season the soup and serve with croutons.
