Ingredients For veg-a-bean soup

  • 2-3 qt
    water
  • 4 can
    organic white beans with juice
  • 6 lg
    carrots, sliced
  • 1 1/2 lb
    new potatoes, washed and sliced
  • 1 lg
    onion, chopped
  • 3/4 stick
    butter
  • 1 pt
    heavy cream or milk
  • 1 qt
    chicken stock
  • 1/2 lb
    ham, chopped
  • salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste

How To Make veg-a-bean soup

  • 1
    In a large pot, add all of the ingredients in any order and cook until all veggies are tender. Stir frequently to prevent scorching of the milk or cream. DO NOT OVERCOOK!

    Serve with fresh bread and salad. Makes a lovely meal and leftovers may be frozen if you like.
