How To Make spicy vegetable chowder

1In a large pot, simmer vegetables in broth until tender, 15 to 20 minutes. Add broccoli in the last 5 minutes of cooking so it doesn't breakdown entirely (or slightly cook the broccoli separately and add at the end).

2Add seasonings to pot. Whisk the flour into the water and add to the pot to thicken the soup. Cook until thickened.

3Stir in cheese until melted and then add salsa

4Warm milk in the microwave and add to pot. Heat thoroughly, without boiling, to avoid curdling.
