3potatoes, peeled and diced

1 1/2 ccabbage, chopped

1leek, diced

1onion, chopped

2carrots, diced

1/4 cfresh parsley, chopped

1/2 tspfreshly ground black pepper

1/2 csour cream
-
1/2 lbbacon, cooked & crumbled (less if you prefer)

1bay leaf

1/2 tspcaraway seeds
How To Make slow cooker irish potato soup

1Combine chicken broth, potatoes, cabbage, leek, onion, carrots and parsley into the base of your slow cooker. Stir in salt, caraway seeds, pepper and bay leaf. Cover, cook on Low 8-10 hours or on High 4-5 hours.

2Remove and discard bay leaf. Combine some hot liquid from slow cooker with the sour cream in a small bowl. Add mixture to slow cooker; stir. Stir in bacon.
