Ingredients For sinigang na baboy - pork soup with lemon

2 clovegarlic, crushed

1 Tbspcooking oil

1-1/2 cchopped onion

6 mdtomatoes, quartered

1 to 2lemons, juiced

2 lbpork loin, cut into serving pieces

6 cwater

3yams, peeled and quartered

1 lbspinach or any green leafy vegetable

3fresh, whole italian hot green peppers

1 Tbsppatis or salt to taste (patis is fish sauce)
How To Make sinigang na baboy - pork soup with lemon

1Saute garlic in oil until brown.

2Add onion, tomatoes and lemon juice.

3Add pork and cook till brown.

4Add water. Bring to a boil and simmer until pork is tender. When tender, add the yams and simmer until fork-tender.

5Add the green vegetable, hot peppers, and salt or patis to taste. Cook for another 5 to 7 minutes. Serve hot.
