Ingredients For shortcut minestrone soup

4bacon strips

1 lgonion, chopped

3 mdcarrots, chopped

3 clovegarlic, minced

1 jarspaghetti sauce

4 canbeef broth
-
16 ozkidney beans, canned (drained and rinsed)

15 ozgarbanzo beans, canned (drained and rinsed)

2/3 cuncooked small shell pasta

2 tspbrown sugar

1/2 tspdried basil
-
1/2 tspdried oregano
-
1 cfrozen green beans
-
grated parmesan cheese
How To Make shortcut minestrone soup

1Cook bacon till crisp. In drippings cook onion & carrots 3 to 4 minutes till tender. Add garlic.

2Stir in spaghetti sauce, broth and beans. Bring to a boil. Add pasta, brown sugar, basil & oregano. Add green beans. Simmer and cook for a while. Garnish with parmesan cheese.
