This is a wonderful quick and easy soup, It has great flavor, you can add ham instead of the bacon bits, more potatoes, onion, celery to suit your taste. A Big bowl this a cool fall night YUMMY!!!!!

Ingredients For potato soup

4 cpotatoes, peeled and diced

2celery stalks, diced

1/3 cfinely chopped onion

1/2 cbacon bits
-
3 1/4 cwater
-
2 Tbspchicken bouillon granules
-
1 tsppepper ( or to taste)

5 Tbspbutter
-
6 Tbspall purpose flour

2 cmilk
How To Make potato soup

1combine the potatoes, onion, celery, bacon bits, and water in a large pot. Bring to a boil then lower heat to med. and cook until potatoes are tender, stir in chicken bouillon, and pepper

2In a separate saucepan, melt butter over med,low heat.Whisk in flour using a fork stirring constantly until thick, about one minute .

3slowly stir in milk as not to allow lumps to form until all of the milk has been added, continue to stir over medium-low heat until thick about 5 minutes

4stir the milk mixture into the large pot and cook soup until heated through.
