This is a super easy wonton soup that is in the style of a Vietnamese Pho

Ingredients For photon soup

  • 6 c
    chicken, beef or vegetable stock
  • 2 Tbsp
    ginger grated
  • 3 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 bunch
    green onions divided into green and white parts
  • 1/2 tsp
    chinese five spice powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    cracked black pepper
  • 1 pkg
    frozen mini wontons or pot stickers
  • 1 bag
    mann's organic broccoli slaw mix
  • 1 c
    fresh bean sprouts
  • 2 sm
    jalapenos seeded and diced
  • 1 Tbsp
    each soy sauce and fish sauce
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    cilantro chopped

How To Make photon soup

  • 1
    Add the stock to a large stock pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and add ginger, garlic, and green parts of the green onions. Stir in the Chinese 5 spice and pepper.

    Add the frozen wontons or pot stickers. Cook until they start to float. Add the remaining ingredients except for cilantro and the green parts of the scallions.

    Cook 2 minutes. Garnish with the cilantro and green onions.
