Mom and I make this in the fall...It is so good..with a grilled open face cheese and onion sandwich....we have been making it for years...It has a wonderful flavor...If you like Asparagus you will like this.....

How To Make mom's asparagus soup

1Bring to boil and cook for 15 to 20 minutes on low or medium heat...Put into blender and cream...

2Melt 2 tbsp butter, add 2 tbsp of flour, salt and pepper to taste. Mix in 1 Cup of milk and stir constantly until thickened. Add to Asparagus mixture...Heat and Enjoy......
