Ingredients For madeline's potato soup

    potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2
    onions, chopped
  • 1 or 2
    carrot, peeled and sliced
  • 1
    celery stalk
  • 4
    chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 Tbsp
    parsley flakes
  • 5 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt (use less if you want to)
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1 lg
    can of evaporated milk

How To Make madeline's potato soup

  • 1
    Cook vegetables in water until tender. Mash coarsely.
  • 2
    Add rest of ingredients. Heat slowly.
  • 3
    Do not boil after adding the milk.
