Ingredients For instant pot broccoli-ham & cheese soup

2 cdiced, cooked ham

1/4 c(1/2 stick) butter
-
4 cfresh broccoli flowerets

3 Tbspdehydrated onion flakes
-
2 tspdehydrated garlic flakes, or minced garlic or garlic powder
-
2 cchicken broth
-
2 cmilk
-
1/4 ccorn starch
-
1/2 lbvelveeta cheese cut into cubes

salt & pepper to taste
How To Make instant pot broccoli-ham & cheese soup

1Select the SAUTE button on your Instant Pot.

2Melt butter, add ham, garlic and onion. Saute until ham is starting to brown.

3Press CANCEL on Instant Pot.

4Add broccoli and broth to Instant Pot.

5Cover and lock the lid. Make sure the steam releasing handle is pointing to sealing.

6HIGH pressure for 3 minutes.

7When cook time is finished, use quick release. When pressure is released, remove lid.

8Strain Broccoli out and finely chop. Then return broccoli to pot.

9Select the SAUTE button and bring broth back to a simmer.

10Mix cornstarch and milk together until smooth, add milk and velveeta to pot. Continue to stir until smooth and thickened.

11Salt and pepper to taste if needed.

12Press CANCEL on Instant Pot.

13Ladle soup into bowls and serve!
