Ingredients For homemade tomato soup

  • 1 16 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1 half med onion or one small one
  • 1 rib celery
  • 1 16 oz can chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 bouillon (chicken) cubes
  • 1/2 cup milk or cream
  • 1 tblsp butter or olive oil

How To Make homemade tomato soup

    dice finely the celery and onion, saute in some butter or olive oil till done.
  • 2
    Add in the flour and stir that around for about thirty seconds. Then add the tomatoes, sauce and bullion cubes along with about 1 or 2 cups of water.

    bring it to a boil let cook about 5 to 10 minutes. cream it up with some milk and use a stick blender to smooth it out.
