Ingredients For fresh broccoli cream soup

4 cchopped fresh broccoli florets

1 cchopped celery

1 cchopped carrots

1/2onion, chopped

6 Tbspunsalted butter

6 Tbspall purpose flour

3 cvegetable broth

2 cmilk, whole ideally

1 tspparsley (dry) - or 1tbsp fresh

1/2 tsponion powder

1/2 tspgarlic powder

1 tspsalt

1/2 tsppepper

shredded cheese
How To Make fresh broccoli cream soup

1Boil 2 cups of water. Add broccoli, celery, and carrots. Boil 3-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.

2In the same pot, saute onion in the butter until tender. Whisk in flour to form a smooth paste. Gradually add the milk and broth, whisking to combine. Bring to a boil and stir for ~1 minute.

3Add the vegetables and all the rest of your ingredients. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 20-30 minutes until vegetables are tender.

4Serve with shredded cheddar cheese. Enjoy!
