4onions, thinly sliced

1/4 cbutter

3 cbeef stock
-
1 cdry white wine

1/4 cdry sherry

1 tspworcestershire sauce

1minced garlic clove

6 slicefrench bread

1/4 cparmesan cheese
How To Make french onion soup (crock pot)

1Using a large frying pan, slowly saute the onions in butter until limp and glazed.

2Transfer to crockpot.

3Add beef stock, white wine, sherry, worcestershire and garlic.

4Cover.

5Cook on low (200) 6 to 8 hours.

6Place buttered french bread on a baking sheet.

7Sprinkle with cheese.

8Place under preheated broiler until lightly toasted.

9To serve, ladle soup into bowl.

10Float a slice of toasted french bread on top.
