Ingredients For french cabbage soup

1 lghead cabbage cored and chopped bite size

5 lgboiling potates quartered and cleaned

5 lgturnips cleaned peeled quartered

1 stickbutter
-
salt and pepper

11/2 chalf and half milk

2 clovegarlic minced
How To Make french cabbage soup

1in a lrg pot, place your cabbage, potatoes, turnips. cover them with water to a 1/2 inch above the vegtables. add your butter, salt and peper and garlic.

2cook to boiling then turn down to a simmer. cook till vegtables are tender about 45 min to simmer. when vegtables are tender add your half and half and simmer 10 min more serve hot with crackers of choice
