came across this one time and thought it sounded wonderful..it was,enough so that in the tea room where i once was employed we served it as part of a special tea we were having.

Ingredients For cream of carrot-cheddar soup

1/2 cfinely chopped onion

1 lbcarrots,shredded

1 lbpotatoes,shredded

1/2 tspdried thyme

1bay leaf

1/8 tsptabasco

1/2 tspworcestershire sauce

1/2 tspsugar

11/2 cmilk

1-2 cshredded cheddar

parsley,salt and pepper
How To Make cream of carrot-cheddar soup

1saute onions in oleo.

2add and simmer til vegs are tender: carrots,potatoes,chicken broth,thyme,bay leaf,tabasco.w/sauce,sugar and salt and pepper to taste.

3add,stirring til cheese is melted the milk and cheese.

4discard bay leaf and sprinkle with parsley
