This is another recipe from my sister-in-law Marie, and we have been making it for years. It is so easy and just delicious! The bacon fat gives it a great flavor.

Ingredients For corn chowder

2 Tbspbacon fat

2 lgpotatos, diced

2 cancream style corn

2 cwhole milk
-
1 canevaporated milk-or enough to equal 2 cups

1 tspsalt

4 dashpepper

3 Tbspparsley flakes

1medium onion--chopped
How To Make corn chowder

1saute onion in bacon fat for 3-5 minutes

2add to this, 2 cups of whole milk, 2 cups of evaporated milk, 2 cans of creamed corn, salt, pepper and parsley flakes. I use 1 can of evaporated milk which is almost 2 cups, and I pour whole milk to make it two cups.

3cook potatos separately for about 10 minutes

4drain and add to chowder

5simmer til ready to eat
