Ingredients For belgian onion soup

2 lgred onions, sliced

6 Tbspbutter

3 cchicken stock

12 ozbeer

1/4 tspeach salt and pepper, or to taste

4thick slices french bread

parmesan cheese
How To Make belgian onion soup

1In a large saucepan, saute onion in butter until soft.
Add chicken stock, beer, salt and pepper.
Cover and simmer about 30 minutes.
Check seasonings. -
2Broil bread on one side about 3 inches from heat.
Turn, sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese, and broil 1–2 minutes more, until lightly browned. -
3Pour soup into bowls.
