Ingredients For $10,000 acorn squash soup

  • 1 sm
    onion,chopped
  • 1/4 c
    celery, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    sweet cream butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    chicken bouillon granules
  • 1/2 tsp
    dill weed
  • 1/4 tsp
    curry powder
  • 1 dash
    cayenne pepper
  • 2 c
    chicken stock
  • 14 oz
    can (scm) sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 c
    cooked acorn squash, mashed
  • s & p
    to taste
  • 6 slice
    cooked and crumbled bacon for garnish

How To Make $10,000 acorn squash soup

    Sauté onion and celery with the butter in a large saucepan. Stir in flour, bouillon, dill, curry and cayenne.

    Gradually add chicken stock and sweetened condensed milk (by Eagle Brand) Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the squash, salt and pepper.

    Place in blender by batches and blend until smooth. Pour into bowl; garnish with bacon.
