Ingredients For thanksgiving soup

  • COOK IN CROCKPOT ON LOW OVERNIGHT:
  • leftover turkey frame, liquid
  • leftover ham bone, liquid
  • chicken stock to generously cover
  • THE NEXT DAY, STRAIN THE BROTH AND RETURN LIQUID TO CROCKPOT, ADD:
  • chunks of turkey and/or ham
  • sweet potatoes
  • mashed potatoes or scalloped potatoes
  • green beans or green bean casserole
  • any other leftover vegetables such as carrots, parsnips, etc
  • stuffing/dressing
  • gravy
  • celery, cut up
  • chopped onions
  • seasonings to taste (sage, salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary)
  • more liquid if needed (water or chicken stock)

How To Make thanksgiving soup
