This recipe goes way back to when there was a cabbage soup diet. Even though I ate a ton of it in my early years, I still love it. It's simple to make, too.

1 smhead of cabbage

1 bunchcelery stalks

1 lggreen pepper

6 mdyellow onions

3 lgcans diced or stewed tomatoes

1/2 jarbeef bouillon, granules
How To Make cabbage soup (peel-a-pound)

1Chop up all of the veggies. I like mine chopped small.

2Put the chopped veggies into a large soup pot and cover with water (several inches over the veggie line).

3Add the tomatoes and beef bouillon.

4Simmer until the veggies are tender, about an hour should do it. If your veggies are chopped bigger, you can allow an hour and a half.
