I grew on conchitas a traditional mexican household dish..you can add any cheese you like or even with out. There are so many variations hope you enjoy

Ingredients For conchas

  • 1 bag
    conchas little pasta shells
  • 1/2 can
    tomato sauce
  • 4 c
    chicken broth
  • 2 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    cumin
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    veg oil
  • monterey jack cheese

How To Make conchas

  • 1
    add oil to heated pot and add shells and brown up lightly
  • 2
    then add your tomato sauce and broth along with seasonings bring to a boil then lower and simmer until pasta shells are tender
  • 3
    last add your monteray jack cheese in cubes let sit until melted..
