Ingredients For potato and ham soup

5 lbrusset baking potatoes, cut into small cubes (about 1/2 inch size)

1thick slice of cooked ham, cut into small pieces

1/2 cbutter (1 stick)

salt and pepper to taste

1 chalf and half

1/2 csour cream
How To Make potato and ham soup

1Put the diced potatoes into a large soup pot and add just enough water to cover the potatoes. *Too much water will make the soup too thin*

2Cover and bring to a boil, then uncover and cook over med-high for about 20 min.

3Reduce the heat and add the ham and butter. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4Over low heat, add the half and half and sour cream. Heat through and enjoy!
