Ingredients For ~ just another tasty chili ~ cassies
-
1 - 2 Tbspbacon fat for browning meat - oil if you don't have
-
1/2 lbeach - sausage & ground beef - more if you like it meatier

1 smchopped onion
-
1/2 ceach - chopped, red bell pepper - chopped green bell pepper
-
2 Tbspflour & chili powder
-
2 1/2 Tbspminced, dried garlic flakes
-
1 Tbspworcestershire sauce
-
1 1/2 tspground cumin
-
1 tspeach - cayenne, salt, crushed red pepper & sugar
-
2 tspgarlic powder
-
1 - 15 ozcans of each - dark red kidney beans ( rinsed ) - pinto beans( rinsed ) - chili beans

1 - 28 ozcan - plum tomatoes and juice - chopped
-
1 - 15 oztomato sauce
-
1/2 ceach - strong black coffee & water
-
condimentsto serve with - sour cream, shredded cheese, green onion
How To Make ~ just another tasty chili ~ cassies

1In a dutch oven, brown onion, peppers, sausage and ground beef in 1 - 2 tablespoon of bacon fat, until meat is no longer pink. Drain, and add back to pot.

2Stir in the chopped tomatoes,tomato sauce, all spices, flour, Worcestershire sauce, beans, coffee and stir to combine. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 1 hour - stirring occasionally.

3Taste and adjust seasonings if desired. It should be pretty thick, add 1/2 cup or more water to thin out if desired.

4Ladle into bowls and add favorite condiments. As with any good chili, is even better the next day. Enjoy!
