I just use light beer. You can use dark beers but different beers will yield different flavors. Experiment with different beer's until you find the one you like.

Ingredients For chili beer soup with pasta

1 mdonion diced

2 canbeer i use bud light different beers will make different flavor

1 jarchili sauce

4 Tbspsoy sauce

2 Tbspeach chili powder and cumin

4 clovegarlic minced

1/2 cbrown sugar

salt and pepper to taste

2 cwater

1knorr's homestyle beef bouillon

1 lbground beef cooked and drained

8 ozpasta cooked and drained

1 cshredded cheddar cheese
How To Make chili beer soup with pasta

1Combine first 8 ingredients in heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and simmer 20 minutes.

2While this is simmering cook your beef and pasta. Set aside.

3Add water and bouillon to the chili beer ingredients. Cook until bouillon is completely dissolved.

4Stir in the pasta and meat. Serve in bowls with cheese on top.
