Ingredients For low-cal lemony chicken spinach soup

  • 5 c
    chicken broth, low-fat
  • 3 c
    water
  • 1/2 sm
    red onion, finely diced
  • 2
    garlic cloves, finely minced (i used a garlic press)
  • 1/2 tsp
    thyme, dried
  • 1/2 tsp
    mrs. dash garlic and herb seasoning
  • 2 1/2 c
    cooked & shredded chicken*
  • 4 c
    baby spinach leaves
  • 2
    lemons, cut into wedges

How To Make low-cal lemony chicken spinach soup

    Add broth, water, onion, garlic, thyme, Mrs. Dash, and chicken to stockpot. Cook at a gentle boil for 8-10 minutes. Turn off heat, and remove from heat. Stir in spinach. Serve each bowl with a wedge or two of lemon, and squeeze into soup and stir. Enjoy! * I poached two organic chicken breasts for this.
