Ingredients For garlic lemon soup with orzo

1 Tbspolive oil

1 mdonion diced

1 lgcarrot thinly sliced.

5 clovegarlic

1/2 cwhite wine

6 cchicken broth

1 pkgknorr's home-style chicken bouillon or 1 tbsp butter then bouillon chicken bouillon

1/2 corzo
-
1/2 lglemon juice and zest

salt and pepper to taste

1 tspdried basil

1 Tbspfresh parsley minced

1 Tbspfresh tarragon chopped
How To Make garlic lemon soup with orzo

1Squeeze the lemon juice and the zest into a bowl and set aside.

2In a large pot heat olive oil. Add the onions and garlic and saute until translucent. Add wine and deglaze the pan. Add carrots. cook until wine is almost all evaporated.

3Add chicken broth and bouillon. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add orzo. Cook until orzo is tender.

4Add basil, parsley, and tarragon. Add lemon juice and zest and cook 1 minute.
