Ingredients For hearty brazilian bean soup

  • 1 md
    chopped onion
  • 1 stalk
    celery, chopped
  • 1 lg
    chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 tsp
    chopped, fresh, bottled garlic
  • 1 c
    chopped frozen hash browns
  • 15 oz. can
    undrained black beans
  • 2 1/2 can
    vegetable broth
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp
    fennel seeds
  • 1 c
    chopped swiss chard

How To Make hearty brazilian bean soup

  • 1
    Place 1/2 cp. of the vegetable broth, onions, celery, garlic, and bell pepper in a large saucepan. Cook, stirring occasionally, over medium heat for 5 minutes.

    Add remaining ingredients except chard.

    Cook over low heat for 20 min. Add Swiss Chard and cook for 5 minutes.
